This study is a qualitative study that uses a literature approach. The results of this study show that a number of Catholics at Stasi St. Maria Imakulata Oeltua have a wrong understanding about the meaning of the offering. According to them, offering is not only as a form of gratitude to God, but also a condition to get God’s blessing. That point of view has to do with their absence in the Eucharist on Sunday. They will not attend the Eucharist on Sunday when they do not have money to give to the Church as a form of their offering. The Eucharist is actually the source and peak of the faith of Christians. The main and first offering in the Eucharistic Celebration is the self and the heart of the Christians themselves. In other words, the main and most important offering of Christians is the offering of self or the offering of whole life; and not money. Money is needed to sustain the life and ministry of the Church, but it is not the main thing of the Christians offering. Therefore, to correct this misunderstanding, catechesis needs to be held as a means of teaching the true Catholic faith.
Eugenius Koresy Bour Yoseph Freinademetz Runesi Copyright (c) 2025 Eugenius Koresy Bour, Yoseph Freinademetz Runesi https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-08-16 2025-08-16 5 3 227 245 10.52110/jppak.v5i3.212 Analysis of Content Effectiveness for Church Proclamation in the Digital Age https://www.jurnalppak.or.id/ojs/index.php/jppak/article/view/249

Development of digital technology has greatly influenced our lives, including the Church. In facing it, the Church keeps trying to listen to the echo of her mission in the world. Whatever dan whenever, The Curch has always been an ‘agent of salvation’ for the nations. Her presence must always be interpreted in the light of that mission. Thus, the Church couldn’t stand idly by, especially by consciously closing her eyes when hoax, flexing, FoMO, Doomscrolling, and Brain rot were happenned dan spread in the media. The Church needs to involved and actively fight for the values of truth and salvation. The digital era should be a new meeting ground in which the Church can grow and spread the news of salvation for more and more people. This study aims to find the new ways that Church can do in its preaching efforts, especially in this new era. By analyzing the effectiveness of content specifically on the TikTok account @mainmain_official, the presence of the Church is still very relevant to this era. The Church even has great opportunities in its missionary efforts by utilizing technology. This study uses two methods, namely the library method and content analysis. With this method, it was found that the Church can be present in this digital era to proclaim the Gospel and its righteousness, namely by utilizing digital platforms, especially TikTok. The efforts that can be made to increase the success of preaching are by creating creative, interesting, and inspiring content. One form is by displaying daily life testimonies that are relevant to the lives of many people.

Yohanes Yudit Copyright (c) 2025 Yohanes Yudit https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-08-16 2025-08-16 5 3 246 267 10.52110/jppak.v5i3.249 Hukum Kasih Menurut Paulus Dalam Rom 12:9-21 Dan Gemanya Dalam Diskursus Kosmopolitanisme https://www.jurnalppak.or.id/ojs/index.php/jppak/article/view/262
The background of this article is the awareness of the importance of the law of love as a special language of religion (Christianity) for universal human civilization. The author realizes that conventional legal languages, both civil and moral, are not enough to provide a solid normative basis for the transnational cohesion project fought for in cosmopolitanism. The Christian law of love written by Paul in the text of Romans 12:9-21 can be an alternative answer amidst the flow of cosmopolitanism's search for a religious legal language in supporting world peace. The method used is library research with a comparative descriptive analysis approach. On the one hand, there is a description of the law of love from Paul's perspective, and on the other hand, there is a comparison of ideas with cosmopolitanism that is developing today. So this article aims to describe the law of love according to Paul in the text of Romans 12:9-21 and its theoretical and practical relevance in the discourse of cosmopolitanism. The expected result is a new perspective on cosmopolitanism based on the law of love formulated by Paul in the text of Romans 12:9-13.
Copyright (c) 2025 Siprianus Soleman Senda https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-08-21 2025-08-21 5 3 268 280 10.52110/jppak.v5i3.262 Analisis Efektivitas Pembinaan Iman Anak Menggunakan Model CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) di Stasi Santo Yakobus Paroki Santo Padre Pio Helvetia https://www.jurnalppak.or.id/ojs/index.php/jppak/article/view/350
The present study aims to analyse the effectiveness of children's faith formation in Stasi Santo Yakobus Sukadono, Paroki Santo Padre Pio Helvetia, by using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. The present research employs a qualitative approach, utilising triangulation techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The context component underscores the congruence between the program's objectives and the Church's vision, while also addressing the needs of the local community. The input aspect of the evaluation process encompasses the quality of the coaching staff, the availability of facilities and infrastructure, as well as the involvement of parents and dewan pastoral stasi. The process component focuses on the consistency of implementation and the methods used, including participatory approaches and liturgical activities. The product aspect of the programme has been found to engender an enhancement in spirituality, moral character, and active involvement of children in church life. The results indicate that the programme of faith formation has been effective, is pertinent to the contemporary context, and exerts a significant influence on the development of children's faith. Nevertheless, there is a necessity for the enhancement of coaching education, the more effective utilisation of digital media, and a deeperening of the collaboration between the Church and the family. It is anticipated that these findings will serve as a valuable contribution to the development of contextual and holistic faith education within the Catholic Church.
Angelina Sijabat Petrus Simarmata Copyright (c) 2025 Angelina Sijabat, Petrus Simarmata https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-08-16 2025-08-16 5 3 281 301 10.52110/jppak.v5i3.350 Kenosis: Solidaritas Perjumpaan dalam Relasi Kasih Trinitaris https://www.jurnalppak.or.id/ojs/index.php/jppak/article/view/273
Kenosis has a connection with the trinity. Even though kenosis is a free act of the Son, this does not mean that there is no trinitarian act in it. This relationship is clearly seen in the personal unity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Son who emptied himself and became the same as humans, wants to show his obedience to the will of the Father who sent Him to save humans and His solidarity to humans. Each person meets out of love for one another. This loving relationship is clear proof that they are bound in one unity and cannot be separated. Kenosis becomes real because there is an encounter of solidarity that occurs in the relationship of trinitarian love. Encounters based on love enable a close unity in togetherness with others. Thus, kenosis is a path taken so that humans can be saved thanks to the Son in trinitarian action. The encounters that occur are always meaningful and have a huge effect. Trinitarian action can occur when each person gives space and allows themselves to be embraced by others. In the unity of love, the Trinity relates and with the spirit of perichoresis they meet one another.
Ventiko Copyright (c) 2025 Ventiko https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-08-16 2025-08-16 5 3 320 334 10.52110/jppak.v5i3.184
